Natural Gas

Industry Regulation and complex Rate schedules are typical challenges for Gas Utilities. However, Meter-to-Cash operations have become problematic with inflation and deregulated commodity markets where customers perform multiple Start/Stop/Transfers (SST) activities above and beyond seasonality. BOSS has created custom conversion APIs from legacy CIS applications to Oracle’s Customer Care and Billing (CCB) for some of the largest Gas providers to expand their capabilities.

We have spent years performing Data Quality and Cleansing operations of Field Activities to assure Gas Leak emergencies are prioritized from notification to resolution through our Wax ‘n Fax solution.

Electric, Electric Vehicle, Solar

Meter Data Management (MDM) has scaled into Advanced Meter Solutions (AMS) where anomalies are detected through scalar, interval, and SCADA data for Power utilities. BOSS deployed the first Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud for an Oracle Energy and Water customer to capture interval head-end data and create Machine Learning (ML) notebooks for analysis and visualization. Our solution compliments Oracle’s C2M-AMS deployment for Operational Device Management (ODM) and Service Order Management (SOM) to identify irregularities within the network and deploy field resources to resolve service issues.

BOSS spent over two years designing and developing an EVSE solution for deployment on Oracle’s Customer Cloud Service (CCS) with Advanced Meter Solutions (AMS) add-on. Our solution is tailored for State and Local Agencies that have Electric Vehicles and need metered billing services for departmental chargebacks within the agencies.
